DFW wanna go fast 1/2 mile event April14-15

Just reads like one of those first posts to a forum trying to sound legit but is trying to sell something.

Something like that would be great to attend. I have Gingerman raceway nearby but the 1/2 mile type events are a little hard to come by.

Oh I see why you might think that, Not spam I promise, I’m just a newb poster. I’ve been reading through SpoolStreet since it’s inception pretty much but never posted. I might try to go tomorrow afternoon and watch for a bit, sounds like it would be fun, I’m sure there will be some amazing cars out there.

Awesome! My girlfriend and I are going to go early this afternoon for a bit. From last years video, looked like there were several highly modded supercars, should be a lot of fun. Did you get a pit pass dyezak or just spectator? I’m wondering how well we could see the cars from the stands?

I have a pit pass but it only applies to driving your car in the pits with all the other racers. Spectator pass lets you walk around anywhere you want but you park with the peons. I parked next to the 1320 booth.

And yes, 234.49mph Huracon qualifies as a crazy car. But I forgot my DSLR battery

234?!!! That’s crazy! I hope I don’t miss out on too much, we will be headed there around 12:30.

Had a great time today out there, saw a turbo z06 blow a motor, a hood fly off a camaro zr1 at 170mph, and met a few cool people with some single turbo n54’s. Got to try out a RTD shifter setup in a car, night and day from the OEM setup! Also, whoever has the license plate “misfire”, that was awesome hehe.

It was quite humbling, new life goals.... the turbo kits alone in some of the lambos cost more than my car + mods, x2....

Yea, that e60... I wouldn't have trusted it at highway speeds, much less 100+mph. Kind of a sketchy build on a shoestring budget.

But I missed your runs, I left shortly after you got there. How did you do?
