Would be interested too, but I think its not possible. When battery is low it shuts terminal 30g in 10mins instead of 30min - I have observed this feature with my old battery.
Spoke to the BMW whisperer and he said no there is something like 6 stages of sleep, cant exactly remember the exact numbers but it goes something like this
30s
1min
16min
30min
1hr
6 hrs
Cant remember the exact numbers but you get the gist.
Or if your running a lightweight race battery keep it on a trickle charger or any type of battery should be kept on one that's not used for extended periods of time.
you cant change it I was told thats just what is in the car now.
Our cars have 6 stages of sleep.
Have a go and see what you can come up with, if you trying to combine the f series can bus with the e series can bus is the most likely culprit thats keeping your car alive and not letting it go to sleep. Ive seen a faulty flickering led keep the car alive for hrs.
No im running a standalone ECU for the engine but trying to use as much of the cars original modules/functions as possible.
It works like it is now, but im using the 30g for some things that need to stay alive a bit after engine shutdown, but 30min is unessecery.
In CAS search for KL30G_TIMEOUT there are four values.
wert_01-30min
wert_02-60 min
wert_03-45min
wert_04-20min
Mine was wert_03 - 45 min and i code to wert_04 - 20 min. It is very useful for short trips. With NCS Dummy i think you can add new value and make it 10 or 15 min but I haven't tried.
