Brake pad wear sensor question

I'm fairly certain my e60 535i has one rear brake wear sensor and one front brake wear sensor. However my local bmw stealership says I have 4 total because I have the m sport suspension.

I'm getting ready to do brakes and rotors so I'd like to be certain how many to get.

Whose done theirs and how many sensors do you have?

I also forgot about coding those sensors out. I just bought 2 sets of sensors so I could ensure my street and track pads had their own sets... and now I feel dumb for wasting that money. DERP.

There's another way as well. Cut the wire and twist the ends together to close the circuit.
