Interesting, I wasn't aware these are prone to failure. At what power levels does this happen and do you have any photos of one that has suffered failure?

It does happen, we have made quite a few of these with zero failure rate to date.

A failure of the stock mount is due to customer abuse, it can happen at stock power levels or it can happen at 800-1000whp. On Rubens M5 we haven't had a failure yet because we went ahead and reinforced it knowing it would see extreme abuse and massive amounts of power.

I don't have any photos of failed ones, here is a link to M5Post with a video: https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1328552

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've tried 100s of searches and to no avail...I haven't found a reasonable solution to the differential support problem for under 1500$. I cant justify paying that much for a damn support brace...Then i came across this thread. Has this mod held up of the past few years? And can i send you a stock brace for this mod?

Tried going to a welding shop and showing them pictures? That is really not a difficult task for an average welder.

It almost looks like they welded on a thin layer of metal(aluminum?) over most of it.
