This 2011 335d with a little over 98,000 miles arrived for a CBU cleaning. Like the N54 the M57 diesel develops carbon build up in the intake ports and over time reduces the efficiency and performance of the engine. Using walnut media we are able to safely and effectively remove the build up from the intake ports. After the cleaning has been performed the engine is able to operate more efficiently, restoring lost fuel economy and performance. We recommend this cleaning to be performed every 60,000-80,000 miles on M57 powered diesels.
