Does anyone have any recommendations for a 6-7000k halo bulb that's not $175 from bms? I know there's hundreds on eBay and Amazon but I'd like some information from people with hands on experience before I go wasting my money on a bulb set who's ballasts will blow after 3000 miles. E92 335 pre LCI, h8 halo.

Yeah those are the $175 ones on burger Motorsports I was talking about, but I've pretty much said screw it and have decided to get those. Don't really want to play around with trial and error.

The H8 180 cost $199 on BMS also. Its the color adjustable version which is cheaper.

I went with the H8 180, they are nice and bright. A pain to install, and don't exactly 'snap' into place like I wanted them to but they haven't moved since I Put them in.

I bought some generic ones on Amazon and regret it. One ring hardly lights up. Heard nothing but great reviews from Lux though.

I have a slightly used set of LUX 5.2 for pre-lci E90 angle eyes if anyone wants them. $50 shipped to continental US. They are great. I just replaced them with LUX v7. This picture has the V5.2 on the passenger side and the V7 on the driver's side. Not a huge difference in brightness. I took this picture 6 months ago in March when I was switching my winter wheels / tires for my summer wheel/tires.

Please elaborate. I tried Cree led's years ago & they never fit right. I never even installed & I just gave up on bulbs.

They fit. They just don't have a tactile click when i twisted them in. At least, i didn't notice. Perhaps i didn't screw them in all the way but it was virtually impossible to twist any more.

They both look yellow? The driver side a bit better though

They look pretty white with real eyes. IPhone camera, conditions and your display all variables.

These are the ones I got from Amazon: Pretty bright and no error message.
