2008 BMW 135i
With a daughter on the way, I’ve decided it’s time to let go of my single turbo converted 2008 BMW 135i, and get something with four doors and some more room for the expanding family. My wife and I really don’t have the space to be a three car household at the moment, and I’m interested in moving into a manual transmission F10 M5 in the near future. This car has a spotless history, has been meticulously maintained + upgraded with extra care, and doesn’t need a thing -- I'd feel confident driving it from New York to California right now. All the kinks have been ironed out and every aspect of the car has been addressed. It’s a daily driver’s dream in every sense of the word, with far more power than any daily driven car should probably have, and is the most reliable of N54 you’ll find. Mileage currently reads close to 156,000, there are zero lights on the dash, and I have documented the entire process.

Full build thread can be found here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1294947

Don’t let the miles fool you, this one doesn’t have very many parts left still installed that have that many miles, and consistently gets great Blackstone reports. Before anyone asks, I have not dynoed this car since converting from the stock twins to a top mount single turbo, and don’t plan on it. This car has seen very few WOT pulls despite having close to 550-600WHP on it’s daily driven tune. I enjoy the art of the build, but don’t ever seem to use all that power on the street, and don’t ever seem to find the time to find a track. This car has been religiously warmed up, gets the oil changed more often than it should, and has never been run above 23psi (only for a few 3-4 pulls for logging purposes before being turned back down). For over a year now, the car has been running E60 fuel on a BMS ST TS E85 PI THR flash because I care more about reliability than raw power numbers. With that said, this car’s current setup is capable of running full E85 fuel at closer to 29psi, which would probably get you very close to that 700HP number with this turbo.

The car is located in Asheville, North Carolina, I'm not interested in trades or parting the car out, and price is $22,000 firm -- I’ve probably spent double that amount on this build. I’d prefer to be contacted by email at [email protected] as I don’t check the forums as much as I used to. I’ve had the clean and clear title in my safe for 3 years now. But enough talking, I’ll let the maintenance history, mod list, sound clips, and pictures do the talking.

Sad to see you leave this platform. Some might gawk at the price, but I think it's well worth it. Someone will appreciate all of the time, effort and money you've put into this car to make it what it is today. One of the best examples available. I hope it goes to a good home, good luck with the sale!

Whatever money you get out of this car will be quickly gone/forgotten.

Hang on to the car, put it in storage and come back to it in a couple years and you will have a car that you can enjoy all over again. You are a long way from ever putting this much work, love and money into a car like this again.

Ask how many of us older dudes regret getting rid of specific cars!

You have a point. I would never invest what I have into my 335i today now that my son is in the world. Well at least not until I have college paid for an own at least 1 income property etc.

My priorities have massively shifted to empire building.

True to a degree, but if he gets even close to asking price, he can spot the other 10K to get into an F10 M5. A set of downpipes and tune and BAM - same power in a much newer, more capable platform with more room for the little one and is arguably better for long trips.

I've actually never been in an F10 M5, nor any N63/S63 powered vehicle.
