I'm told it will be made from 6061 from a solid piece of billet. When finished, will weigh less than 18 lbs from a starting block of 184 lbs.

The factory PCV system will be removed in lieu of a baffled pair of -12 orb fittings. They will include a billet oil fill cap and a pair of barb or -12 male fittings. The cover will retain a factory style gasket and hardware. They will offer anodizing in red, blue, yellow, black or green.

Group buy pricing will be in the ~$1500 range, ETA aprox 6 weeks

That's gonna be gorgeous when it's done- total artwork. Complex machine work, lots of complex cutting going on, and no doubt a bit of art like that is worth every penny. 184 lb block down to 18, wow.

Just not sure it's worth that much /to me/..... I'd darn sure love to see it on somebodies engine tho!

Wow, I talked to Anthony about this last week when I was at ACF and he's already coming out with it soon?
That was quick!

All cool but if you'll run external PCV and remove factory what's the reason having billet aluminum cover? For fun I guess since you can run your engine with cracked valve.

That's a really impressive scan job! Did you scan in house or send it out? Which scanner was used?

No more cracked valve covers
I never had a cracked valve cover in my 9 years/62K miles owning my 08 335xi. Then again, I only run 22-23 psi boost on stockers. What conditions typically cause cracked valve covers? Heat? Pressure? Both?
