here is the question .
i swap the DCT from 6AT successfuly on my E90 335i N54 , then coding,ISTA could recoginzed my trans is a DCT now , but xHP did not,xHP also think i'm a 6at car.
and i don't want to change my VIN to a DCT car‘s VIN, don't want to change CAS . (then my MHD licence was gone, and i'm using custom tune)
So ,i want to flash xHP DCT software, guys have any solution ?

and i ask the xHP,they reply me this:

Like XHP said; the app reads the CAS VIN and unless you wanna play with spoofing it lol.
otherwise talk to @Olza he can flash the DCT without XHP
My car has the WB73 type code and it recognizes the DCT but gives me an error. On their website WB73 is supported for the DCT. I get an incompatible map for TCU error when I flash. Could it be related to the zb#?

Unless xhp uses an internal vin lookup for your specific car I dont see how the app can tell what trans your car came with factory.(Other than type code, but mine is supported so ?)

Otherwise you would need a 335is CAS and key to flash the car.

Shoot, I wish they just based it off of type code in the CAS. It should be way easier than using the vin.
So heres a little update just for anyone in the future.
After contacting support, they say that it should work fine on my car(even if its swapped). They said xhp checks the TCU first then matches the vin with the DME and CAS to make sure the type code is correct. Now Im just waiting on a response detailing what I should do.

If you haven’t purchased xhp you can change the vin and then use XHP
If xhp was purchased against a different vin I believe the licence is locked to it and it just won’t work when you connect it to the car

So you didn't had to change the vin to a DCT correct? I will be swapping my 6at to dct next week and was wondering how I would do to tune the xhp.
If I bought the license + maps for my 6at, all I will need to do after the swap is to buy the dct MAP right?

xHP supports a lot of coupe type codes. The only way to check to see if your car is supported is by matching your type code to xHPs list. If its on the list, you dont have to swap vins. If its not on the list you're gonna have to swap vins.. You would have to buy both the DCT flash license and DCT maps.

Since your car is an 07, I don't think you'll be supported for flashing with your vin.

Apparently xhp added a “skip compatibility checks” option when flashing custom files to their latest update.
