After a short intermission we are ready to announce our next raffle! SpoolStreet has teamed up with @RayBan from the xHP Flashtool team and have agreed to give away xHP Flashtool licenses to FIVE(5) lucky winners on this forum!

For the uninitiated, the xHP Flashtool is a ZF 6HP gen 2 TCU flash found in the 335i(6HP21) and 335d(6HP28) and many more BMWs. For many years, enthusiasts have clamored for a way to control the shift points and other tables within the locked down TCU, and xHP is here to fill that need. If having control over the driving dynamics of your car is important to you, then you'll be needing this software.

To download the xHP Flashtool software, view a compatibility chart and access the table definition files and more, visit: http://www.xhpflashtool.com/ - (Note: The 335i will not appear in this compatibility chart as support doesn't officially start until sometime in March, yet is still included in this contest).

3. Participate in the raffle (lottery) on the home page of THIS forum. You may enter as many times as you want! Each raffle ticket is 25 credits, you earn them by posting replies(5+), making threads(10+), referrals(25), etc. If you look at the top of the page and see you don't have enough credits or you run out, the above actions will generate more. The drawing will automatically occur on April 1st. Our system detects fake/duplicate accounts and offenders will be automatically disqualified.

More Terms:

3. Any charges, if any, related to shipping and handling are at winner's expense. The winner may not otherwise resell the prize within 6 months and must prove they have installed it on their own vehicle.

5. An honest and detailed review with any applicable videos, photos of product and installation, logs and any other useful metrics which may be obtained, must be posted on this forum exclusively within 4 weeks of delivery of the contest prize. A detailed review with analytical references and media is expected. If you cannot ensure this, please transfer the winning rights to another eligible member who can.
6. Terms are subject to change at any time. If contest staff determine there has been abuse of these rules, this agreement may be revoked and the prize may be requested to be returned or reimbursed. We reserve the right to disqualify an entrant for any reason.

Couple questions, is the xdf available on the webpage the same one that will be used for the gasoline cars? What version of trans software is it for? Anybody happen to have a binary to poke around at? I'm waaay too impatient to wait for March...

I think if you download the app you should be able to pull a backup off your own car? There just aren't any maps available yet for the 335i. Not positive, but I think that is how it works. Have yet to try myself.
