I have a 2008 pre-lci 335xi. My car came with headlight washers, but I've realized that the drivers side washer doesn't always fully retract. Has anyone else had this problem? And if anyone has, how have you gone about fixing it?

If you want to disable the washers, I think if you pull the fuse #43 it will accomplish that. The fuse box is inside the glove compartment.

As far as fixing it, I think you'll need to replace the actuator/lubricate it. I don't know exactly how it works but I've heard of this happening before. I think there is a spring that makes it go back in, so you may want to check that spring.

Thanks, I'll read a bit more then probably pull it apart to fix it.

I coded mine to stay down with the Carly App. I hated that they would spray all over the hood when ever I'd spray the windshield.
