I'm sure it won't interfere with MHD. They have to have thought about that.

Plus, due to flash time I'd assume it's just like installing software on a computer. Could be wrong but, haven't looked into those aspects. But, OBD 2 is the second generation for a reason.

These are touching two totally different modules. MHD=DME, xHP=TCU. In fact, they will likely work better now that they are both in control and sending proper torque values, etc.

I asked if there would be any mhd revisions to accommodate the trans flash the same way we choose Alpina or standart. They said that they're in collaboration with martial so I wouldn't expect any incompatibilities

Second this. Since there is already an option in MHD for trans type/software I wonder if MHD will be updated to take into account changes with XHP

This confuses me as well. Would someone with xDrive select MT in MHD as well? I have an AT xDrive with the Alpina tune. In the MHD app I was told to select "AT xDrive" and not the "AT with Alpina", because it only matter with RWD. Hope that makes sense.

For now yes, given the limiter increases in xHP some people will need to flash as an MT so the trans gets the correct torque values and etc.
Glad to hear you guys are working together to get the best results.

I have an 07 335i with the sport trans. Any tricks for flashing designation?
