Just the 335i ?

Each calibration needs to be specific to the engine and chassis of course and this one is for the 335i. But you can be assured they can and want to create stages for every car possible with the BMW 8HP (Encryption schemes and software are different among brands).

I can't wait for this to be available for the 550i. The trans performs really well as is. Hard to imagine it being even better.

Love having the xHP S3 on my 135, and The Wife has always been grieved that it's not available for her X1 S28... We'll be first in line if it ever is!

Are gear specific shift points fully tunable? Stage 1 looks blah. DME tuning will eliminate or circumvent the torque limit soon enough. Mine already seems to have been eliminated in recent flashes. Stage 2 looks like the sweet spot. Not sure I'd be down for the race shift map in D mode in Sport+ in the stage 3 maps. How quick can you whip up an F25 X3 config?

DME tuning will eliminate or circumvent the torque limit soon enough.

It's circumvented by lowering reported torque, which in turn results in lower shift pressure in the trans. You will really want the limit removed on the TCU side so DME can report actual torque.

Sorry to revive an old thread. I see they cover the 535d so I was going to get it. Then I saw the "super license" for $350 ... ouch. Double ouch? Is that they only way (and cost) to get a Stage 2 map? I'm not an XHP guy so ... maybe I have something wrong?

Just buy the stage 3 map, super license give you 1,2 and 3. You dont need them all, the 3 is a jack of all trades.

You need the general license and the stage 3 map, done. Should be $200 or less iirc.

Yeah ... it binds to my car and no ability to buy individual maps. Only real choice is the "super license" fr $349.

Note the stage 2 map alone cannot be purchased. Only the super pack has the ability to purchase, for $349. A brilliant sales strategy to lose money.
