Hate all you want, but I have a 6MT and I want my car to pop between shifts lol. I've seen videos of other cars doing it, I think its one of the tables in the "shift bog" section but not entirely sure what needs to be done. I've tried many different configurations with no success so i figured I'd try asking on here. I understand how to make my car pop off throttle and know my way around tuner pro fairly well, although I'm no professional.

Any chance somebody could help me understand what needs to be done to make my car pop between shifts? By doing this, in my mind we could make it like an antilag setup to keep the turbo spooling between shifts if we wanted. Not ideal for everyday driving but something I'd like to try.

Normally when my cars in full boost and i shift right at redline it would always pop. I did have coil cut checked with shift bog fix enabled.

ip_t_min_pu_hom is the map you would want to adjust.

Careful and do not change the timer at near redline as this will cause a rev-hang situation.

I recommend changing the third column to ~6500 while keeping the stock 0.06s timer and just change the first two columns as you see fit.

Flash with shift bog fix + PI safety flash options in MHD, then you can NLS at redline (hard limiter sound + very little loss of boost between the shifts).

Hey jyamona, I've been following you for a while. I have a question. I cannot seem to get the NLS to work for me. I use shift bog delete and PI safety, which is fine but, whenever I try to set my "clutch-pressed" RPM there is always an issue. If I don’t WOT or slowly get up to the RPM, the limiter works from any RPM to my “clutch pressed” RPM. However, when I WOT then clutch in to shift the rpms don’t drop to my set limit and bounces off redline. When I launch using MHD launch control 1st gear gets limited to my clutch pressed RPM. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you might be using something else as well? MHD has no "clutch pressed" RPM for NLS. The launch control slider is for launching / vehicle stopped 2-step RPM.

For NLS, you set your per gear rev limit to be about where you want to NLS.

Thanks, for quick reply. I have been using gear 0 as the "clutch pressed". Am I supposed to set each gear to a different RPM? I thought this would limit my in-gear RPM.

It does not work like that, I would leave gear 0 as is. It can cause unresponsive pedal, etc.

Thanks, I will experiment with the other 7 gears. Do you know what each gear number corresponds to? I suppose 1-6 are obvious, but what about 0, 7, and 8?

ignore the others. set your rev limit (where you want to shift at) for 1-6.

Hey sorry to keep bothering you, but I set them and it did what I thought it would. That is now the rev limit in gear but when I clutch in it will go to my higher rev limit. Am I doing something wrong? My goal is to ride the gear to redline about 7200 RPM and then when I leave my foot on the gas and clutch in have it drop to 4500 or so RPM. Is this possible on this platform through Tuning only?
