I've been thinking for a while what to do with my E92 N55. I've been thinking of going for a stage 2 turbo upgrade but maybe i start with a MHD stage 1+ with IC first to see what that gives.

I'd love to upgrade the turbo. MHD Stage 2 and a downpipe is about as far as I think I'll go with this car.

whats up guys, what can i help you with?

Since you asked :)

I'm waiting for the DME unlock (dur). When the time comes, will you be offering stack setup tuning? I'm running the JB4 on it's own on my FBO e82 DCT is just so damn unpredictable and inconsistent, but I appreciate it's feedback and safety features.

I'm looking for maximum safety/reliability while keeping the stock clutches happy...

DME unlock is right around the corner for the Late E-series cars. And F-series. Currently just working out some particulars with the unlocks and etc. Yes i will and always have offered stacked tuning for those who need it. So i offer everything, from DME unlocks to custom tuning and etc.

The inconsistency and etc is one of the reasons i never recommend the JB4 as a first option

Thanks!

Digging deeper, now:

- When all is said and done, I'll be looking at a PS2 + Stg2 LPFP @ E50 (depending on how tuning goes with you) I'm considering a map 7 for DD, and map 6 for 'kill mode' increased boost + meth. Is this doable and recommended?

- Do you think we'd be approaching the hazard zone for my clutches (or anything else) at either point? Recommend any parts to keep on hand?

- Will you be down in the greater LA area sometime so we can hop on a dyno rather than e-tune (not opposed to e-tune, but prefer in person).

- Will you be able to fix my DCT/throttle delay before it kills me? It's...the absolute worst part of my car.

A daily map would be fine. As i'd supply a fully custom tailored BEF for you to use with any boost setting of the JB4. so yes, map 6 could be your kill mode boost setting. On the PS2, the DCT should be able to handle that turbos max efficiency. Not sure if i'll be in LA anytime soon. So can't comment.

DCT Throttle Delay is similar to the Audi/VW DSG if we are talking about the same thing. In which that timing delaty before engaging the clutches is embedded into the TCM. However, when i get some free time i will see if there by chance is something on the DME side that could help that. This is assuming you're talking about the Delay from the Time you release the brake and press the gas pedal to the time the DCT engages the clutches and the car starts moving?

Not sure if it's related to the brake (of course, I could be way off but solid information seems to be sparse in the community).

Even if I'm cruising on partial throttle and go WOT, there's a solid .5-1 second delay before the car even realizes the throttle is wide open.

It also happens from a stop and switching off the brake like you mentioned.

FWIW, all my modules are up to date.
