Question: If I want to bought a BMW Car Key programmer, any good suggestions for me? If I need to read and write EWS and CAS cay key information, then which car key programmer is the best for me to use?

Answer:

These are some frequently mentioned BMW key programmer in the china market.

1st choice: AK300 BMW CAS Key Maker

Support vehicles: E65/E66/E87/E60/E61/E90/E91/E92/E93/E71/E71
Support the new 2002-2009 for BMW CAS; CAS2; CAS3
Not support encryption key data of CAS3+

2nd choice: AK90 BMW EWS Key Programmer

Price: $139
Covers EWS2.1/EWS2.2/EWS3/EWS3.3/EWS4/EWS4.4
Can read all BMW EWS key information from 1995-2005.

3rd choice: BMW Multi Tool for OBD2 CAS1/CAS2/CAS3/CAS3+

Four parts: hardware device, dongle, programmer, software
BMW Multi Tool is much better than AK300 AND AK90. It supports BMW CAS 1 CAS2 CAS3 CAS3+ key programming, it can operate by OBD2 port, provide great convenient for customer who need match new BMW keys. With BMW CAS4 adapter, it will also do BMW CAS4 programming.

4th choice: VVDI2 Commander Key Programmer Full Version

Price: $2049
If you are well off, VVDI 2 certainly the best choice. VVDI 2=VVDI options + BMW Multi Tool options+ Porsche options +J2534 (free)+ Tango (free)+ remote control generation(free)+ VAG diagnostic tool+ …more other function will be added. It’s comprehensive product, the only defect is that the price is feel-helpless for normal car owners.

In short, BMW Multi Tool is the best key programmer for BMW CAS1, CAS2, CAS3, CAS3+, CAS4 (with CAS4 adapter). VVDI2 has completely inherited all the function of Multi Tool, and it will do CAS4+ all key lost which Multi tool cannot.
