What wheels would you buy if money was no object?

I'm curious what people are eyeballing in terms of wheels? If you had your pick, which wheels would you buy (and actually use)?

carbon revolution and was going to buy a set but they stopped making wheels for the aftermarket sector altogether and turned their focus on OEM only.

Probably something from BBS. FI-R line rims look bad ass with a BBK.

CF wheels performance wise are amazing but looks? Eh I will pass. Few look decent and many would looked better with color. Also having rims worth more than my car? Kind of the reason I think 15 inch rear wheels with slicks look stupid on a bmw. Looking all 'race/drag cah' and you are driving on the streets where there is no need for slicks or CF rims etc. Same with a massive wing.

On a dedicated go fast car? Sure. But if money is no option the CF rims would be on a super car.

edit: If you are going CF rims, get centerlock at least!

Alloy wheels are basically for looks only, CF wheels offer so much more than just weight saving.

They don't flex like alloy on corners and keep camber and toe in check which will give you a superior handling advantage.
Huge rotational mass weight saving that will give better throttle response and more power at the wheels.
Reduced stopping distance
Reduced road noise
No heat transfer.

I can understand why they don't appeal to most but there will be others and these are the future.

I've owned OZ 3 piece, BBS 2 piece and 3 piece, HRE 3 piece, et cetera .... it's basically a trail of tears. I have so many negative stories that simply I'll never buy the high-end multi-piece wheels again. The CF wheels look interesting - I'd love to know how practical they are in dealing with the reality of road surface irregularities and damage.

People often love to tout the perfect world benefits of wheels, but practical experience trumps.

Carbon revolution has been bringing out cf oem wheels for a while now so I can't see how it would be a problem.

They have also started supplying wheels to Ferrari, Renault and Ford.

Its only a matter of time before they filter down to the common car or at least some plastic composite wheel in the near future, the benefits outweigh the price in the long run.

You can't see how "it" would be a problem. "It" being what?

HRE3D+ printed titanium wheels just for the cool factor, and plow any extra cash to some detailer to keep them clean

But more realistically, BBS FI-R or Forgeline CF205

M3 Comp 359s are honestly really high up there for that OEM+.
My all time favorites would be Work Meisters S1
