I was wondering what everyone does with their stock exhausts once you put your aftermarket stuff on? I know there is some value in the mufflers for DIY guys and the mid cats I'd assume have some value, but does everyone really just keep them around for that day they decide to part out?

I personally save everything.

The stock exhaust doesn't really have a ton of value. Locally, I have seen a few guys ask for $100-$200 bucks (for everything).

Problem is that thing is not small and I don't know really where I'd put it. Moving it is a pain as well. I think I'm going to have it cut up after my exhaust is built and will be taking the mufflers and cats and having the rest scrapped.

Cut it up (muffler delete, sec. cat delete) and put AR20 resonators where the sec. cats were. Way too loud with single turbo, sold it for $100. Sold both sets of cats for $75.

Think I'm going to turn my sec cats into an (ugly) vband mid pipe option. I have two sets, one from my last 335 also.

Fortunately have a warehouse for business. Kept the mufflers and cats. Stock hood, trunk, bumpers, shocks, air box, belly pan, like an E92 went thru a wood chipper back there. I need to throw that shit out, or have a damn garage sale.

You don't want to see my basement... I have pretty much every stock part of my car down there.

That said, there does seem to be somewhat of a secondary market for those for the guys who PE mod them. Always worth posting up for sale.

LOL. My closet is FULL of parts. I would sell them online but don't know how to figure out shipping costs. Wish they still had C.O.D

Im interested in your belly pan if it's in good shape. I just recently cracked a section of mine
As far as what to do with stock, I would keep everything just in case some time down the road you need to go back to stock

I keep all my stock parts. If you plan on selling the car modded or can't store the stock exhaust I would put it on Craigslist. Someone will want it. I actually bought a spare stock exhaust to do the PE mod on just in case I want to go back to stock or return the car to stock.
