Curious what the stock 6 bolt N54 whp and 1/4 mile record is I’m talking 100% stock unopened 6 bolt. Pic of my 2011 335is stock motor. On dyno tomorrow gonna send 35-40psi did a test hit at 40psi last night. Trapped 139mph full weight 3850lb with me at 650whp 26psi while skipping 3rd and no boost 5th.

Do they even record a 6 vs 8 ?
I thought is was just N54 platform.
Anyway, great time and trap ! Especially for this platform and given weight.

8 bolt is way better and stronger. Also thanks that was off idle rolling into it.

What years had which ? Or specific to certain models ?
BTW, Ive always loved your engine bay as Ive mentioned b4.

There you go, our shop car at European Automotive Performance MN just set the BMW 335is World Record. Was 94 degrees 44% humidity. Just so hot wasn’t worth pushing it. 715whp 733wtrq 100% Stock 6 bolt N54 motor. Was 31psi tapering to 29psi on a small Precision 6266BB Gen 2 1.0AR. E50 Fuel . Ran 40psi on the street and will dyno in the fall in cold weather on higher boost. Will attach in car footage and the datalog. Video in the comments and log is linked below. Nice. Gives me hope that I can push mine harder than 27 psi on a stock block without it breaking.
These open deck engines are amazing. Been pushing mine for a few years now and so far, so good. Funny how in 2016 people worried about even pushing 450whp
