Is there a way to tell what injectors I have without uninstalling them? Just curious since I am getting a bit of misfire and last time I changed plugs Cylinder 3 seemed to be a little wet.

What is the tool for if you can pull them by hand?
The tool is for when you can’t pull them by hand. I guess if they were in there awhile there could be carbon buildup or even partially seized up. Mine came out easy but they weren’t in very long.

There is also a tool needed to compress the new seals unless you buy injectors with the seals already installed and compressed with the cap.

I bought a used injector and this is probably how the guy removed it. All the threads were crushed so bad I couldn't even retap the threads.

You're supposed to install the fuel line nut over the threads and pull them that way... whoever removed that injector is an idiot lmao

Whoever sold those was an idiot and I can't imagine they didn' notice the damage done to the threads. Get your money back or file a dispute. If you had to use pliers, which you never should, at least use some rubber etc. between so you don't damage them. Classic shade tree mechanic.
