WGDC base table and PID tables

Is the Y axis on WGDC base table the boost set point in absolute or gauge pressure? It is expressed in units of bar right?

The stock X axis for WGDC is set low so if I see nearly 500g/s (WGDC Req g/s) in the actual log then should I add further columns to the X axis to make it extend to 500 or will it extrapolate?

Are the X axis on PID tables the error term (demand - actual)?

I have tried to read V8Bait’s tuning sheet but these are somethings I have not understood.

If I want to disable PIDs then should I make the adder table zero? I think I have read this somewhere here. Thanks for your help.

For the base you have airflow and boost setpoint, which isn't the same as boost target. You can log that parameter individually or calculate it yourself using the boost target. It's ((boost+atmospheric pressure)/atmospheric pressure), essentially just a factor of how much higher you want the boost (absolute) over atmospheric pressure

Be careful when using tmap scaling as this will throw these values off since the boost value you see in logs isn't what the DME is using, MHD scales that parameter for you in logs so it will be a lot higher than what the DME references.

And the DME won't extrapolate above the limits of the table so you want to expand your airflow axis up to 550g/s.
