Walked up to my car and this is what I saw...

My car has had every maintenance item taken care of 10k miles back. Turbos replaced 70k miles back. Injectors all at index 12 and new coils. Just got an oil change 3 months ago. OFHG and VC + gasket, plus oil plan (yes pan) and its gasket replaced like a year ago. All of the sudden out of the blue, this happens. Car is low on oil, even after putting two quarts in to bring it up. It literally splashed oil all over my windshield and front of the car. Like soaked! WTF. Any help is appreciated.

The only thing I can think it could be related to is a pot hole I hit about two weeks ago. I hit it HARD where it bent my front and back rims. Damn rain and night driving. Didn't see it.

Hard to tell from photo but maybe loose bolt between engine oil filter adapter and block or maybe oil thermostat bolt loose?

Maybe but that would be more towards the center of the car, no? This is almost all the way to the left (facing the car).

Judging by the oil up top being on the left side, i'd say its def something in the oil cooler tract.

Yeah I think that's right. Pics posted below.

So you're driving and it just started going up your windshield etc?

Yes, it was the fan shroud that splashed the oil all over the place.

Looks like oil cooler return line is disco in the first pic.

I was thinking this as well but after looking at it a bit closer in the day (briefly before leaving for work in my wife's car) I think that line is the A/C compressor line, or one of them at least. The car only has two lines going from the oil filter housing to the oil cooler, right? Are you saying it's one of those lines? And would you think it's at the point where it meets the oil cooler?

The issue is the stock hardlines.

Looks like the break was right at the hardline connection so you may need to pull the cooler. Can likely use double sided hose barb fitting to connect the other line for now and bypass until you have time to resolve.
