Using Protool

So, I haven't really fiddled much with coding yet. I've only used protool for finding problems and maintenance stuff.

When going into the advanced coding in protool, are all the modules set at default value for the modules for my cars build specifically?

Everything you see in the coding screens is as-is on the module right now. If you want to start with "default" values:

  1. MAKE A BACKUP
  2. perform the "factory coding" task, which uses the VO to set the module to the factory defaults for the options in your VO
  3. now go edit stuff
Note that this will *lose* any customisations that you may have made, which is why a backup isn't a bad idea. I'm not aware of any way other than by comparing a second backup with the first to see what has / will change.
