so my 335i has a oil filter housing leak, which will be fixed soon. But I'm getting a p1114 and p1113f (throttle body angel manifold pressure high) code, SES light on, once got the yellow half engine light, my o2 sensors are coding as rich and lean but now the turbos are cutting in and out or have no boost; and my car isn't in limp mode. Waste gates were replaced under warranty. Could the o2 sensors mess with the turbos? Could the wastegates be sticking? Could the throttle body and manifold be shock? I'm trying to figure out why my turbos are acting weird. 1 mechanic told me the dme could be shot, another that the turbos are shot... what do you guys think? It's running and driving and ideling perfect.

Jesus man.
Step 1
Breathe

Step 2
Answer the following
-All these issues happen at once and if not just what was the first issue?

-Do you have INPA software + cable? If not what are you checking codes with?

-When you clear codes what comes back? Are any codes not clearing?

They replaced the wastegates and not the turbos? Dead DME? Do you live in a city with a bunch of retards?

Sounds more like a dirty/bad TMAP, or vacuum/boost leak. How far down your accelerator is doesn't match the pressure it expects to see in the manifold. Vacuum leak could cause your diverter valves/bov to not open... boost leak could cause your turbos to act like they aren't working.

Have someone smoke test your car to rule out leaks.

Lol... sorry, a lot to post in no time. I bought the car thinking it was clean AF, apparently not. I got $ saved to fix it but I just want an idea of what's happening. I'm using an OBDII right now because my laptop broke, so I can't read codes from the JB4. I don't know how to clear codes yet. The SES light come on, yellow half engine, then I noticed the oil leak, then the turbos started acting up. Portland OR BMW dealership told me the DME was shot, figured he's just talking out of his neck. I can have the peddle down to 30-70% turbos cut in and out and sometimes no boost. Doesn't seem to misfire and idles fine. I checking the vacuum lines, they appear to be whole. So it could be a absolute range of everything sounds like.

If you just bought the car and installed the JB4 go back in to the wiring, likely where your issue.

Borrow a laptop and check codes. Don't clear shit until you read them and snap a pic of them to remember. Exponentially harder to diagnose if you don't know what the car is telling you is wrong

Go to Burger website and check the JB4 install was done correctly. Learn how to use it, common issues, yada yada

You can keep yourself occupied by checking what is listed below

Check sensor is snug and connected at 1

Check small 1/4" hoses are not cracked / split / disconnected at 2

Chek pipe to pipe connection at 3

Check 1/4" hoses that go to the cannisters and solenoids at 4
