I linked to a thread I found in the other tuning section that shows a setting found and added to the xdf that has to do with filtering throttle input. They found that the m3 has a very low setting and the reg cars little higher and manual cars very high. It basically runs a smoothing algorithm on the throttle signal but this prevents instant response. Obviously it isnt magic wont make turbo lag disappear but it could greatly improve dynamics having the throttle blade directly connect to pedal instead of being desensitized.

Doesn't look like it's been added to the master XDF's yet, last commits were over a year ago.

I just read that thread over at E90post. Very impressive discovery! Hopefully we’ll also be able to access these new throttle tables in the IJEOS FlexFuel XDF.

Exactly it seemed very promising but died out for whatever reason so I didn't know if this was just common tuner knowledge. I am not advanced when it comes to tuner pro so I wasn't sure if I just missed sonething with the definitions or if this just stalled out.

If you have a unlocked bin you can just load the linked XDF in the thread in Tunerpro with your bin and update those values. You don't need the complete XDF to modify these particular tables. If you're using a locked bin or OTS maps you'll need to have the person with access do it for you.

Awesome thankyou I will def be playing with this setting im currently waiting for my transmission be put back together. I had to have it ripped apart again cause of the groan or rubbing sound I was getting on light throttle 1st to second shifts after my rebuild and propulsive dynamics upgrade. Figures my trans was perfect I should have left alone until it started slipping.

So you’re saying I can load the linked XDF in the thread in Tunerpro with my FlexFuel bin and simply update those values? The FlexFuel logic is unaffected?

Man I gotta think those bins are locked. If you're getting them through MHD or a tuner I'd almost guarantee they're locked and won't open in Tunerpro. If they aren't locked, the throttle sensitivity tables shouldn't affect the Flexfuel tables at all.

Example. Stock IKM0S bin (I run IKM0S on my 335is with the M conversion) opened using only the throttle sensitivity XDF with the values changed for a DCT.

Excellent, thanks!
(FYI: I created my own FlexFuel bin myself following the original instructions when MOTIV and MHD released the FlexFuel module etc. My bin is open, not locked.)

I have this on my 335 with IJE0S and 6MT. zeroed out all the 6MT tables and put Throttle Angle (WOT) to 100% across the whole rpm range.

Works mint and drifts like a charm I have great control of the car by feathering the throttle.

How is it as a daily with those settings?

It feels good! I suggest linear throttle mapping tho, because it can be too touchy otherwise. The throttle response is night and day.

I will give this a shot. Always something new on this platform to try.
