The user in post #70 said taking off from a stop was a mixed bag though, so am hesitant to use.

Can't really "work down", as it will be one setting for the masses.

Yeah... but I am not a majority just a single person. I had a few issues with 'surging acceleration' from a stop and couldn't track down what was going on. The rate of tune updates was extremely low and I wasn't having much luck tweaking settings with the small amount of time Ken has. If I could tweak these values on my own then I could answer how good the values are (otherwise I am stuck with the 'locked' tune).

@JohnDaviz would be far better to help with this.

I'm not major deep into the technical value programming of stuff, but I've done the M3 GTS flash/swap for my DCT so if anyone has anything I can test or help with, here's my hat in the ring 🎩

Can't really "work down", as it will be one setting for the masses. If people want something tailored to their car / personal pref, will need to go custom.

There's a lot of superstition around new table changes but the tables we're altering here are just a rate of change limiter.

The logic for this is written in the section "4.29.4 Driver progression correction" of the Continental documentation. It's not the easiest to read because it's just the raw code rather than flow charts but it looks to me like that raw value from the pedal is run through some dejitter function, filtered by these throttle correction tables then used to lookup torque request from the main table.

It's possible some people have problems due to other tables in their tune like the person we saw have the limp mode because of a torque difference nanny not being set out the way.

I've got mine all zeroed out with 6AT and really have no issues. been driving it like this for months without any complaints
Me to @V8bait I think did something like low rpm some filtering still enabled and then change it zero cause he was concerned but then I asked him to 0 out and he did and I have no oscillations or anything I think people with issue need drink less coffee lol. But seriously if you have steadybfoot youbshould be fine if you dont have your heel secure tho any little road imperfections move you a little which transmit ti the pedal and imo that's what people feel

I change a lot of the torque request and pedal mapping too from before these filtering tables were around, ymmv zeroing things out on factory or jb4 backend. Throttle acting a little crisper does help driving the 6mt some though. Was a good find.

I seen people on groups mention it's already been added to MHD? I would guess that's not the case ?

Is there now a consensus on valid settings for AT / DCT trans cars?
I think that's going to be personal preference and dependent on DME/trans tunes. If slider, maybe full stock, full 1M and some blend options between them?

I think just multiplying all values by 0.3 gives a good starting point.

I had no problems with just using 0 but it just felt too jerky.

I am running tables zeroed out completely on INA0S with XHP DCT and it is fine.

Im going to be doing the same, I am on IKM0S, apart from the Jerkiness experienced above, i assume that means just very very sensitive.
I know IKM0S has the Throttle tables Zeroed out for the MT tables.

I am going to still try the 0 out of the throttle tables.
Interestingly, from V8Baits Spreadhseet for tuning, ive done some checks, and the Torque Request % (High/Low) tables assist in the response also.
Torque Request % (High) is for Normal driving conditions
Torque Request % (Low) is for Sport Mode/DTC engaged.

I referenced my OEM IJE0S file for those tables and the difference between High and Low is marginal, gies a slight increase in response to the pedal,

However, the 1M IKM0S file im running shows a much greater difference

This explains why i felt such a difference when engaging sport Button after flashing the 1M file.

So theoretically, it will be a case of making the Torque Request % (High) the same as Torque Request % (low) then the responsiveness would be fantastic.
Ill be testing it out and updating the High table with the values from Low. as well as 0ing out the Throttle tables as mentioned.

That's just normal pedal mapping, it's unrelated to what we are discussing here. By copying the low over the high you are just going to have less resolution in your pedal.

Guys, any tips on zeroing out the tables for the E90 N55? I just hate the throttle response as it is.
I’m currently on MHD Stage 2, so will I only be able to change those tables on a custom tune?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
