As everyone knows we are somewhat limited when it comes to our choices of a bottom mount single turbo kit for our cars. Although, the 2 that come to mind the fastest are for sure the best money can buy. AD-e and Motiv of course. But has anyone heard anything about either company or anyone else for that matter, that is working on a twin scroll bottom mount kit? Something that could take even more advantage of a 6266 gen 2 for example? I know I would buy a kit for sure.

I personally haven't heard of one(Yet) I'm sure somebody will come up with something, but I think space is just a problem. I'd be curious to know if someone is working on something like that

That's the main reason for the post honestly. And if nothing is being worked on maybe we could get enough interest to have someone design some.

I could do one, but don't see the need. A properly sized undivided turbine gets the job done.

ACF is building a T4 Twin scroll bottom mount. My car has an EFR 8374 on it, when the kit is in production (hopefully next month) It will be compatible with PTE, GTX, EFR line-up of turbos. Prices of course will vary between turbo choice and options, but they should be around the current top mount price or cheaper for the PTE line up.

That sounds sweet, got any other details on it? Pics?

Will it be xi compatible?

I really like the idea of a bottom mount, it should allow shorter path from the port to the turbo, but most create an absolute mess at the front of the motor. The piping from the turbo to the intercooler is a mess and there is a lot happening in a small area.

There is definitely a lot going on in the water pump area. But my pipe from the outlet to the intercooler is just a 45* coupler.

That is after the turbo is modified by cutting and welding on more piping to allow it to work with just a simple 45 coupler.

Yep, but that isn't any different than the 90* turn on a top mount is it? Still needs to turn into the fmic

Yes and no, the top mounts have a 100% stock housing and use external piping to make the 90 turn to the inter-cooler. To replace that turbo would require you to modify any new turbo that you intended to try and make any turbo you had modified nearly impossible to sell to anyone else.
