So guys probably the first vehicle i've documented a build on in around 15 years haha... so here goes:lol:
The car started off as a rebound purchase... after being let down by the dealership on a Miami Blue Individual M3 Comp.:thumbdown
Literally on the way back from one dealership i had the urge for the M2.... One test drive later it was done!! 2018 LCi N55 DCT in Saphire Black
The usual styling carbon upgrades came along instantly..
Once the run in service was done it was time for a stock dyno run and intake testing... all dyno results are based on Bapro dyno that utilises parasitic loss measurement for the most accurate flywheel figure.

Yup it was time to upgrade the dreaded charge pipe as the M2 from factory closes throttle to maintain a constant boost pressure, which causes the stock plastic charge pipe to blow...:confused2

Time to address the elephant in the room... 116i intercooler removal..lol
Yup the stock intercooler barely works for the n13 engine and they use the same for the N55. So this is a must for any raise in charge pressure/temps.

Not long before it was time to make it really growl... in goes the Scorpion turbo back system and Stage 2 mapping...

Next up was replacing the stock inlet pipe as these are a restriction above 17psi..
With these FBO and custom NVM Stage 2 mapping we saw a peak of 420Bhp and 620nm
Which netted a best 100-200 time of 8.8 Seconds with full weight and tank:
The stock turbo on the N55 creates quite alot of heat above 17psi due to its back pressure... so meth was the only option!!!
With a custom baffled Meth tank!
This allowed for 440Bhp and 650Nm comfortably with zero timing pull and zero hpfp problems.
and again best Stage 2+ 100-200 in 8.5 seconds with full weight and full tank:
The limits of the Stock Turbo has to be found...
