Today I reloaded my tune (long write) and adjusted some options to remove the burbles. This was my first time doing this…
Now after restart my STFT2 is pegged at 34% , bank 1 is hovering pretty high as well at 9.5%. Also the Lambda for Bank 2 is sitting at 37 but bank 1 is normal. Car was cold, but I don’t want to warm it up with it running that lean.
Any idea why this would happen all of the sudden?

Edit : removed things like burbles, loud startup. I'm not 100% sure how all of the other settings were but the only other things enabled were linear throttle mapping and ECA sensor

I would guess that there's a typo in your tune. I assume you self tuning, can you do a compare vs an older revision and make sure you didn't change something accidentally?

I think MHD made changes in later versions of their software where they just use the bank 1 tables for both banks so I don't know how you would get one bank under-fuelling like that.

I don't self tune .... it's the same tune file from my tuner that has been on the car for the past couple of years ....

Is this the first time you've flashed since the MHD+ logic was added? It seems to me it's an issue with the lambda tables which was something that was changed when they added MHD+ for the N54.
You might have to ask the tuner to update the file.

I would imagine, but I'm not sure when MHD+ was changed ... just got the car in January. I received the files from Previous owner.
Currently I have been in contact with the previous tuner but have not rehired him (which he requires ... understandably). I just wanted to change the options and get rid of the burbles and loud start .... previous owner settings were a bit much for my likes. When doing this I thought I had to reinstall the tune.

All I can suggest is flashing back to stock to see if that fixes the lambda control. If so then you've got a problem in the tune.

Bank 2 is not getting enough fuel, clogged injector or something like that considering its pi.
The car was running fine yesterday evening - the only changes were made to the options when reloading the same tune. The issue right now is only at idle and I doubt the PI is even providing fuel at idle.

Tried to flash back to stock and the flashing stopped .... It said common failures were DKAN cable or low power. My batter was fully charged and still on the tender and voltage is still at 90-100% (12.7v). I was in airplane mode and with everything turned off except Wifi which was set to MHD ....

I have tried multiple times and it will not re-flash successfully! Bad is getting worse!

It's almost impossible to brick a DME. Between my 2 vehicles and my bench DMEs I've probably flashed a couple of thousand times at least. I've powered down during writes, removed cables and flashed all kinds of logic to them and never had an unexpected brick condition.

Having developed apps with the Android platform I know how much of a piece of shit it can be. The most common issue is the Android OS doing stupid shit with the interface, especially the WiFi interface. Things like power saving and network swapping will cause flash issues.

Just use a different Android device and try again. From experience anything from Huawei or Amazon will be garbage. Pixel devices are the most robust as they have the least bloat installed.

Thanks - That gives me some confidence! I am using an iPhone version of the app and will try again. Have a meeting for work now so I'll have to do it later on today.
Thank you!

OK - I finally got the stock map from MHD loaded up successfully, but it would not allow the car to start ... it acted like it tried, but quickly died. I logged that attempt.

I then tried to reload the original custom tune and was successful at that. Started the log and then the car ... bank 2 trims and Lambda air quickly pegged and stayed put .... I shut it down as I couldn't tell if it was getting fuel. I can't imagine the sensor all of a sudden went tits upas it was working fine yesterday before the flash.

I'm thinking I will reset adaptations and try again ... maybe even swap the bank 1 and 2 sensors to see if it follows...if it does I would assume sensor is bad, if not the tune may be the issue. I disabled Meth system and am working on how to disable the port injection ... need to get this thing stabilized at idle first and eliminate those systems.
