Testing and tuning underway for this monster. The manifold is an equal length twin scroll tube style kit. Currently running a water cooled 67mm garret turbo. There is no words to describe the exhaust note of this s55. Many people hear it and think it’s a v10 lambo. Gone are the days of the horrible sounding s55. I am posting this to get a feeler on how many people would be interested in purchasing this kit. Of course this is just a teaser shot of the engine bay and I will have full pics of manifold design including logs, dyno numbers and price lists posted in about a month. It’s already making 580hp on stock boost levels 18-19 psi according to the I drive display.

I know there are a couple single turbo setups out there but I think they are top mount.

Any issues with the combined banks like N54?

No issues with the combined banks. 02s are properly placed out of the main heat stream with heat sinks. Since it’s a twin scroll setup the bank 1 and bank 2 afrs function perfectly.

Any plans for a single inlet to the heat exchanger? My OCD is going nuts.

Going to a single inlet over the top of the motor has hood clearance issues. This was the best I could come up with for now. I am going to powder coat the charge pipe wrinkle black it will give it a more oem look.

Sounds awesome! Post some pics of the manifold :). What are you going to be tuning it with? I have some cool stuff in the works for S55 via MHD.

This is cool. I do recall a N54 bottom mount that never seemed to get fully released or marketed though.
The n54 kits was a huge learning curve. This will be much different. I did end up selling over 10 kits and I learned being a business owner and fabricator all in 1 was too much I could not keep up. This will be layed out differently.

Unfortunately no design pics until I finish the tuning and development stage and at least get dyno charts, logs and pricing. I’m not jumping the gun on this one. it will be fully released with the options to purchase. I learned a ton from the n54 market.

Yep, understood!
