Was supposed to be last Friday would be the 2 week mark, but when I asked I was told 1.5- 2 more weeks. At least me and another guy would have purchased gdo's bracket if we knew it would be this long.

Does anyone really think the bracket itsnt needed? The OD is right by the lpfp sensor which could fail early do to extra vibration, it would seem.

I ordered gda bracket will be here Tuesday. I know spool might get it sometime soon but it's been so long and why not if I know gda bracket works perfect. I just want to put it in the car, retune it and dont think about it

Very similar to the falling off electric electric steering motor on the F series ... A long motor hangs on the steering rack horizontally . I was replaced by fastening bolts on my F16 - one cracked

This is becoming less of an annoyance, and more of a dissapointment. Looks like I'll be fabricating my own. Been waiting even longer for the hardline.

I'd suggest using the flex line. He sent me a hard line to test and it had fitment issues that put it in a bind, which was putting stress on the entire assembly.

I also have an idea why the bracket is taking so long. Ajay was nice enough to send me a laser scanned model of the bracket so I machined one for a fit check and it had to have some pretty aggressive changes made to it to get it to fit up correctly so if the first batch of brackets he sent out for testing were machined entirely based off the cad data, they were all wrong and that's probably where the delay is coming from.

It fits pretty good now and I'm 100% sure this thing is not going anywhere. The only concern I have left now is how it plays with the knock sensors. I'll report back when I run some initial logs.

Thanks for the update. Just curious, what do the bolts do in the location where the bracket goes and the one to the left of the bracket?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, the block attachment point was previously used for the alternator power wire bracket. The other open bolt hole is where the bank 1 knock sensor goes.

The qc issue with the hardline was over a month ago now, and if they truly have issues still, we who are waiting shouldn't have to request a refund. If there are issues with the first batch of brackets you'd hope spool would give us purchasers an update.
If you look at my previous posts, I've aided in giving the benefit of the doubt and reassurance to other purchasing members. I think it's obvious I'm not bashing if that's a concern, but those who purchased deserve updates and not through word of mouth. Ajay pledged to watch this thread more, so knock on wood there.
