Little back story:
I have a 2010 135i and i DCT swapped it. Car makes over 800 whp so i opted for SSP-specr clutches. i got them hot at a half mile event (even with my 7x11 inch aftermarket cooler) and ever since they they slipped on anything more than 26 psi(6766). Relearned the clutches and put new fluid. still nothing. Took tranny out saw that the clutches were brown and sent them to kris to see what was up. he said they were 60% worn and that they held 800 ft lbs when he tested them so he sent them back saying they are good to go(worn 60% over 4k miles is pretty bad). He shimmed them up and sent them back. Installed them with new tranny filters and the clutch would not adapt saying they are out of tolerance. Clutches worked for a few weeks until i went out again to a half mile event and after turning it upwards of 30 psi they just all out slipped from then on. Im trying to see why this is happening. maybe faulty clutch pack? i sworn it had to do with the jb4 but terry said it doesnt interfere with line pressure at all. Im custom tuned BEF by @pure_evil_tuning (very familiar with DCT cars) on INA0S with line pressure maxxed out and torque tables adjusted. any pointers at this point are really appreciated. im so tempted to throw the DCT out and go twin disc lol.
