Single turbo Upgrading MSD80 to MSD81

Long story short the mosfets blew for a second time so I said bump it I'll upgrade to the MSD81. The only question I have is how does the ECU mapping works. Since my single Turbo tune is I8AOS and the MSD81 is IJE0S does that mean my car needs to retune with a IJE0S tune?

simple answer is yes.

when i swapped ECUs from 80 to 81 i contacted my tuner (ken @ Wedge performance) and he sent me out the new version of the tune for IJE0S

First upgrade I did as well! Was hell because MHD kept changing the VIN thankfully with my feedback they fixed the bug! With swapped DME's
