Single Turbo Meth Log Review

I setup meth on my single turbo 335i N54 yesterday and the logs, ignition and specifically look worse than without meth. I’m getting major timing drops.

Overview:

• The current tune is particularly rich with reduced main timing, and spool timing to offset pump gas limitations. I throw that out in the event the richer AFRs and lowering timing might be contributing factors.

• I got an “Invalid characters in user field: CPS-1500" that I’m trying to figure out what this field is. This seems like an issue regardless of whether it’s related to this problem.
  • I think this was related to the weird Duty Bias entries. Changed duty bias to 50's and error went away, but was present at the time of these logs.
• Boost Juice 50/50 mix is a few years old. Bottles looked a little sketchy as the seal under the caps were slightly broken on all four bottles.

I’ve provided the setup below. Hopefully someone can see something in the logs that helps me sort this out.

Setup:

• N54 with Doc race 6062 turbo
• Burger Motorsports integrated meth kit

• JB4 Meth setup: Meth Safety Mode: 0, Meth Trigger Mode: 100, Boost Additive: 40, Signal Scaling: 60, Min Flow Boost: 8.0

• Boost Juice 50/50 mix

Reverted back to the off the shelf BEF and changed the boost additive to 20 instead of 40 and the logs look good to me. The hpfp dips a few times though. Not sure if that's normal or not. Might raise the boost additive to 40 tomorrow to see if the timing curve still raises towards redline without dipping.
