Might bend throttle blade if it was closed. Almost makes me want to machine a big hole and press in a freeze plug to release the pressure if it happens again.

Just need a burst plate

Yes that was the plan but other things came up so we rolled the dice. It had been fine at other events. Never racing a high HP manual trans vehicle with the plastic manifold again though. I was just looking at the log when it blew up, PI cut off right when I pressed the clutch as designed. So not sure what triggers this. Has to be fuel vapor pooling in the manifold somehow and a spark kicking back up.

Please tell me if im wrong but im seeing 25psi @ 4000RPM on your screenshot which is totally not what your showed in the logs of your crazy 60-130 runs?

Why would you run lower power at an event?

Always test and start slow to see where we stand on a whole new setup.
3rd gear boost limiter haha or else spin city! I drove the car 3 times before Terry blew it up LOLOL. I did a best of 165mph at 26 psi.

At these races with new builds I always do a couple lower boost runs and build up as my confidence in the car builds. That 25psi in 3rd was actually going to be a full boost run (33psi in 4th+) before the manifold nuked. I didn't bother with 1st or 2nd for that run as I wanted a good 60-130.

can you upload a few logs to see the spool that day and on a real Event again?
sorry but seeing that i get the Feeling that the logs in your record thread and reaching 20PSI @ under 3.000 was because of that rolling anti lag etc. (sorry for offtopic).

It's a race event where you start in 1st gear and go so other than the attempted 60-130 in 3rd I tried when it nuked there was no spool up runs done. I can grab a log later of a spool up in 4th if you want. But I'm not sure what the controversy is about. They are twin turbos, of course it's going to spool much better than a single. I raced on the single kit for years and it's literally night and day down low.

Anytime! Hopefully this one doesn't blow up LOL. This thing needs to do 170mph. I did 169.9mph with it a couple years back.

NFZ is coming up 11/10.. Although there is competition for trailer space. Payam and I may have to flip a coin on whether we bring this car or his single turbo 335. :)

Drive one there. Have some faith that they won't both break and you could still drive one home :p

Like Terry said, no reason to doubt that with twins. I have MMP 1Ks which are similar to the GCs and on my second revision from Motiv (meaning still just making sure everything is safe - no real performance tuning) I was hitting 18.9psi by 3100 with a max target of 19 at the time.
