Crankcase is gravity die-cast Al Si 7 Cu 0.5 Mg

Crankshaft is a steel alloy 42CrMoS4 Mod which is nitrocarbonized. Lower bearings are Federal Mogul G488 and uppers are G490. Rods are taken from the S64B44T4.
Forged 'slipper-skirt' pistons are made by Mahle. Material is M142P alloy.
The turbos are off-set and the turbine housings are part of the manifold:
