S55 + Vargas gc will pass Texas emissions?

I’m interested in buying a built f80 M3 from a dealership in NC, it look like a very well kept car.

It currently has a vargas gc turbo kit + motiv motorsport tune, crankhub done.

The shop that worked on it mentioned that it doesn’t have cats so I think it wouldn’t pass emissions here in TX.

Do you think I can easily swap out a highflow dp to get it passing emissions? Or will I need more than that? It’ll be my daily.

You should be able to swap it out.
Where are you in Texas?
Texas eliminated emissions testing this year except for in the large metropolitan areas.
They now only required standard safety inspection for everyone else.
