I just can't like any of these cars. Audi is AWD, lost the V8, auto only. BMW has electric steering, plays V8 music through the speakers, and is no better off than the N54. AMG is ugly with a capital ugly, auto only, and gets quieter every year.

Add a ZL1 to the mix.

I never understood the engine sounds through the speakers. Why not just take out some of the sound deadening?

Because it's not a good sounding motor.

Some people actually want all the sound deadening possible. Some want to gut everything out, swap some straight pipes, and don't care for drone lol. But I agree, fake exhaust noise is one of the worst gimmicks to date

That's why the Camaro ZL1 has valves in the exhaust. When you're ready to let your balls drop, just open the valves, and boom goes the dynamite. It's also faster and cheaper than all 3.

It's truly sad and depressing when a Camaro puts all 3 cars to shame.

I think half of the reason for the sound deadening is actually for the road noise itself. BMW uses dual mode exhausts also, but mainly to muffle cold starts it seems. I bought some dual mode mufflers and hope to use them in my custom setup.
