Rebuilding stock turbos

Hey all, as my wastegate rattle worsens i am considering having my turbos rebuilt. Has anyone done this with good results? Also if anybody knows of a good shop on Long Island or tri state area let me know!

yes WG rebuild is relatively easy.

I would also recommend swapping out the CHRA.

Rebuilding the CHRA is not the best idea since it will have to be rebalanced

Just buy VTT stage 1s they're like 1-1.5k

I think VTT also sells the chra for like 400 or something like that if you’re really trying to stay low budget.

I’ve been thinking of going the chra replacement route but with the billet wheel option. I’m trying to upgrade my chargepipe with a real BOV, intake pipes, and hot side chargepipe first though. Than when I do chra I’ll do DPs and new vacuum lines at the same time. Would love to hear from anyone else who has done something similar.
