Really quick question about inlets

Everything looks good except the massive throttle closures as said you will have to get a custom tune.

Are you data logging with traction control on, doesn't look like it but stranger things have happen ?

Something is not right with that tune.

Yeah it's super odd hey, I really don't want to get a custom tune as I just wanna see why it's all suddenly hating the tune after driving it with stage 1+ for a while it was SUPER fast and torque and just perfect, it was even good with ST2+ for a while till it fell on it's face..

Traction control was fully off (Holding the button for 4-5ish seconds)..

It's just super odd, I just can not find the issue, I have a buddy that has a 335i as well with a stage 2+ on E30 and his is fantastic but mine is just rejecting using the tune at it's full potential.

If you would know, what would possibly cause that closure all suddenly from when it was super good? Anything I should check

I've checked vacuum, coils, sparks, injectors, etc, I swear it's the most oddest issue. Also big thanks for having a glace at my log!

Ahhhhhh gotcha! How could I avoid getting a custom map? I just love the luxury of having all tunes at my hands.. But it is weird how it use to run perfectly 4 weeks after I got it on stage 1+ but then suddenly it went bad after a while, is there a different tune I can run maybe? Or change inlets?

Just figuring out whats the next move, the custom tune being the last resort..

Yeah I've had it on V9 as well... Also FYI, my mods are

Catless Downpipes
VRSF intakes
7.5" Comp VRSF intercooler
and Cobb Charge pipe
On stage 2+ v10 atm

Well lucky for you the latest update introduced map switching on the fly no flash needed currently only available with a custom tune Did your local daily temps drop recently? That could push you over the edge as well. You could attempt to band aid it but would I do not recommend it and be completely counter productive… If I were to absolutely have to do this for some reason. I would start with trying the stock air box with the inlets with a generic oem style air filter. There’s other things but I don’t even want to post them here for people to see as the years go on. Your issue is your turbos are healthy it could be worse…

It will partially put back in place some of the restriction in the intake tract your removed with inlets/DCI. Some people believe it doesn’t really make much of a difference though at this level so I am very curious to see if it’s just enough to reel things back in. Please post your results with logs for us!

Absolutely fantastic replies man and same with everyone else! Really appreciate you helping me through this! I will most definitely do this in the morning as it's 10:25pm atm haha and will get a log and update you guys! Fingers crossed

FYI if you went with 2” inlets it may not fit well on the tubes but should you be able to clamp it down enough

Ahhhh yep! I'll see how I go, I think I heard 2" inlets are only for upgraded turbos? Is that right or will it be all good? I guess once this is fixed, I'll upgrade the turbos later down the line!

The throttle closures are definitely tune related as everything else looks good, the only thing I would try is reset all the adaptations except throttle.

Yeah definitely, trying a few other methods then will do resetting all the adaptions like you said if not I will go for a custom tune! Muchly appreciated you having a look at my log!
