So a looooong while back the rear turbo cooling line on my e60 busted. A couple months back I finally got around to dropping the subframe to get the line off.

I knew my stock turbos didn't have much life left so you know.... got to get new ones while I'm in there. :)

Ordered some RB ones from RB Turbo. Took a while to get but Rob is pleasant to deal with and he makes them. Not some made in bulk rebranded ebay junk.

I ordered the whole kit as well. I really like his tapered inlets cause on the e60 space is cramped and other inlets just get squished. Especially the rear one.

The vrsf outlet is top quality as well like all their products. Rob doesn't sell junk like some other turbo suppliers.... like mmp.

Anyway, some pics. Hopefully I'll have this in next week.

Well... I'm slowly piecing it all back together.

I definitely should have bagged and tagged the hardware while taking those turbos off.....ugh..... it's like a puzzle now. Oh well.

I always keep saying I'll bag and tag stuff too every time I take stuff apart. Never do. What's the fun in that anyway.

I got the rear turbo on today.

Could have had both done if I wasn't interrupted by my kids every 10 minutes....... that my wife was supposed to keep out of my hair so I could work on the car.

So one down....

Nice! Haha, I hear you! I have a 3yr. old and 10 month old. If I can't get something done during nap time on a weekend, it ain't getting done.

My go to is cardboard and a sharpie on large jobs. I make squares for hardware and a small note. Especially if it is going to be longer than a day.

Thankfully I never have a problem. It just takes longer to sort the hardware from the piles I make. Lol
