Iam looking to buy a psp intercooler. Ideally would like the 750ci but open to any size. Shipped to Wisconsin 53562
Yea please do, Iam interested.I have a brand new 900 I'd let go. Never used other than installed for test fitting. I can send pics tonight if you want.
I mite be interested. I have a manual trans car and a 3inch chargepipe/tial already so I would be good thereI have the AD Eng 650 IC, which is very similar to the PSP 700. http://www.ad-eng.net/store/p39/ADE_BMW_135/335_650HP_Intercooler_(6MT).html
It would only fit a manual car though. Also requires the AD Eng charge pipe because it is 3in all the way from IC to throttle. I can sell you the whole setup, IC/CP/TiAL bov.... Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks for that info, makes me feel better about it. Iam supposed to be meeting up with SJ this Saturday to buy his. Very excited to finally get onePSP intercooler are amazing, we track and daily our 135i auto in Texas and always keeps IAT in check.
I hope you find one, you won't be disappointed
I have their 750 and it's overkill for my stock turbos but I really wanted something I wouldn't outgrow. Thanks for that info, makes me feel better about it. Iam supposed to be meeting up with SJ this Saturday to buy his. Very excited to finally get one
I can provide daily driven in traffic logs, high heat high temp logs on 2-3-4 gear pulls.i dont see the big fuss about PSP intercooler, there are no positive data to back up any of the intercoolers manufactures claims. vrsf race has been proven time and time again that its the best in the market with plenty of data to show for it . unless im missing out on something i dont think anyone should buy psps intercooler. cast ends are far superior compared to sheetmetal ends. also vrsf's fine pack is by far best of the best
well i have seen plenty of data for psp in regards to stock boost to around 14psi via stock turbos. these kind of data does not mean anything. its when you start to generate more heat, more boost, bigger turbos is when the vrsf intercooler shines. so in that regard i havent seen any data. all my race cores from vrsf drop iat during pulls at 30psi on a 65mm turbo.
Why is it that no one seems to be providing actual efficiency data on these intercoolers? What I would like to see is inlet and outlet temperatures and pressure drop across the core. For all we know 20psi from the stock turbos maybe putting out hotter air than your 30psi on the 65mm turbo. The fact that that your temps drop during the pull may not be as relevant. Additionally pressure drop would be a better indicator of how restrictive the internal structure of the core is.
