Im from Australia I sent them a few emails but they want direct debit and Im not willing to do that as I have been ripped off twice by US vendors, trying to work it out now how we are going to do this

Same problem here, i did a deposit for the stage4fueling with pi etc, and now they only want wire transfer, and my bank is playing it hard with me with all the questions, i can pay directly with paypal..

Well thats weird, because they asked me for my pay pal details so they could sent me an invoice, and not once did they ask about any other payment method...
After hearing this, im pretty annoyed!

Oh wow... RIP customer service on not allowing you to pay any other way..

They seem pretty trusted and well known but, I completely understand your concerns and they should respect the customer as well.

It's because i need to pay more than 1k, and they got a policy that you can only pay with wire transfer if you are overseas....

You need to pay more than 1k.... Why is that, are you ordering more stuff?
Where is this policy?
Are you saying im going to have to raise pay-pal dispute, get money back and then re-order via wire transfer....
Still doesn't explain why i haven't heard from them since 03/06/17 11:57am

We would like to start by apologizing those overseas again as we have done in e-mail previously, we fully understand your frustration.

As stated in email this is a very difficult situation do we want to sell our products? Absolutely!
Do we want to keep our prices great while offering the most for your money? That is why we are here!

The problem started to become apparent however when we realized that 80% of our fraudulent transactions come from overseas. Without disclosing how you can burn the business there is literally zero protection for the seller. As a result and as explained to our international customers in e-mail we reviewed this situation leaving us with two options.
1. Add these losses to overhead which will increase cost of goods for all customers.
2. Require international customers to pay using a method that does not impose risk for us.

We selected option 2. as there is no reason why these few people that choose to steal items from us should hurt all of our good customers out there by forcing us to increase prices due to theft. We are a well-established business with thousands of satisfied customers around the world and distributors around the globe our customers should have a high level of confidence they will not be burned.

We sincerely apologize for this and will continue to work with you however we can. We are even open to other ideas for money switching hands that is how we came about accepting Western Union. It was suggested by international customer we looked into it decided it was a secure and stable transaction system and now accept it.

As mentioned before we have distributors around the globe, we also welcome customers in other world areas to utilize this. They stock many products and we ship to most of them weekly. As they are a Retailer of our products we do not regulate how they conduct business only that they are upstanding in the community as they are a reflection of us. So any policy they might or might not have we are unaware we only know they are credible and sell genuine Precision Raceworks products.

Please understand we have taken the stance to lose out on sales to protect all of our customers from us having to increase prices due to fraud. We have decided we would rather risk not making the money than to be unfair to the good customers (many of which are international as well). Hopefully this speaks highly to our beliefs as a business and shows we truly do put our customers first.

If you have any questions feel free to send an email to [email protected] we will be glad to help you however we can as always.

With no regard to which company in this response, on the topic of international wire transfers; if I were someone selling a physical good overseas for greater than $500, I'd absolutely require a bank transfer. As someone who does wire transfers every week(today in fact), due to fraud its just not feasible to accept cards or other payment means. My only advice to buyers in this scenario, is to use a company you can trust. A reputable company will have all the contact information you'd want, starting with an address and a history of delivering internationally.

Well I can tell you from experience that having a so called reputable company I have dealt with in the past and trusted them
and against my better judgment done a wire transfer, I've been burnt for 3.5k usd and 10 months later of trying to resolve this still have no resolution and they wont honour their warranty terms.

Now if I had paid by credit card or paypal this wouldn't be an issue

What the seller has to do is ask for more info to prove their identity or even make a phone call overseas and speak to them or a copy of their drivers licence.

But in the end of the day its up to the vendor.

Trying to open suit internationally is a waste of money. Even if you can win, it will cost you more to fight it even with all the proper documentation.

I think the real problem is someone giving their customer the short end of the stick. I'd be interested in your story, if it relates to turbos... Hell I'd never trust a warranty on those personally.

Was your "Toyota idling" a result of the swap, or were your tables modified for the noted effect?

I just received my set; hence the question.

Yes direct result of the swap. It's just noticeably smoother. Even before I modified the tables. Everyone so far whose installed has said the same. You will for sure notice it as well

That was the exact same experience I had with mine today. The idle was real smooth compared to what it was before and I have not modified tables yet.

Yeah its been a major head f#%k and want me to pay for a product that lasted 3500km if you heard the story you would be surprised who it is but I'm letting them sort it out so I don't have to go there
