Hello guys, can anybody tell me why my PID is going below Base? Using standard INA0S PID.
Also why ceiling is not working as intended? I mean boosting above target.

No idea tbh. Any reason you dropped the boost target back down to 18psi your other maps pid was working good.
Any other changes made?

Reduce wgdc base in that area so pid is positive

Lower target will cause pid to go negative if it was close before. Reduce wgdc or raise target, your choice

1. one of two solenoids is dead, so now one solenoid is teed to both actuators.
2. the canisters are removed. the vacuum line goes directly to one solenoid. -20m below sea.
3. the solenoid check in toggles is off.

18psi because it is more stable with our 93 Oct. and I can even go straight 7-9* this way.
I also have 2 maps that I am trying to tune. 18 and 24 psi.

Can you explain me how boost ceiling works? I thought it should ceil the boost, but as you can see in some parts it just goes above the target.
Also its multimap and I believe in map2 (24psi) it will utilize the same wgdc base with its own airflow adder applied to reach 24psi. I correctly understand it because if I wanna go 24psi I still have to move wgdc base up and that will ruin my map 1).

Another log.

1. If you look after 4900 rpm, there is a difference in Boost Mean and Boost of about 0.8 psi. I know Boost is a calculated value, still, don't you see anything that looks like a small leak? I have n20 tmap.

2. You can clearly see that I am hitting the target boost within 800 rpm. Even worse on map 2 (24psi) - around 1000 rpm. Could this be related to one solenoid working? Dying solenoid? I'm on stockers. Now it takes so long to gain boost and you can feel it literally.

What is your issue with After PID being a bit below base? PID seems to be working fine.

Yes. It shouldn't be like that. At least I never seen this kinda behavior. Still it is working fine, but why it is below base?

Who said it shouldn´t be like that? You have no issues, so don´t worry about ghosts.

Your Base is probably a bit to high. But i wouldn´t change anything as the log looks good.

I've never seen such behavior in 2 years of selftuning.
I'm tired I can't get nice 100-200 on 93 Oct. 9.1 is max I've ever achieved but in winter ))) 9.9 during 30c in summer.
And some people are running high 7s on mhd v5 e40. What am I doing wrong guys?
I believe the record is 7.4 on stockers 102.

You should get your boost solenoid replaced and working properly again before worrying about PID behavior. Which looks totally fine anyway. If you’re auto check your post shift timing that will kill power during your runs until it recovers.

You can’t expect to make E40 mix type of power with 93oct alone. MHD V5 E40 uses desensitized knock tables IIRC and set up to max out the stock map sensor running somewhere in the 12deg of timing range. Trying to do that on straight 93 Is asking for trouble and just testing the DME’s ability to prevent self destruction.

i have ran 7.3 and my friend hit 7.2 in a 1/4 mile pass, and im sure he can do 7.0 if he was going for the 100-200 times since his shift was right before 100kmh

Hey, mate. Thanks for your input. Weird solenoid failure btw. I was smoking the stock m4 all night long and the next morning, bam, got no boost, 5-8psi max. I was looking for boost leaks, vacuum leaks etc. and my goodness, I decided to hook them up separately and found that one of them was completely non-functional. As a last resort, I teared the solenoid apart, cleaned it with a carb cleaner, rebuilt it, and the boost was almost back, still slow spooling and actually I broke the filter on the solenoid. The plastic box ))) So strange. I wonder what was the problem since nothing special I found inside.

On ots 93? e40? or custom? I know you have a gutted car. Its featherweight. You did 3 shifts or 2? What is the strategy? )

custom e40 e50 tune. if you call passenger and rear seat out gutted then yeah its gutted. i did mine with 2 shifts. i really dont do 100-200. since i cross the finish line at 200 i rarely get those times. and i dont really do 200 on the street.

Sorry, matey. I thought you reduced the weight completely. Custom - 25psi to 15* ? What about mufflers?

Its got a vrsf street exhaust, 25psi 15* but i never see 15 because i shift well before the redline. It weighs in at 3300lbs currently.
