Just wanted to follow up on my previous post to let everyone know that our braces have shipped from my facility in the EU to my US facility- due to arrive on the 21st of January.
For those who don't know us, we are a manufacturer of carbon fiber parts- everything we do is prepreg carbon fiber processed in our own autoclave. I am an American citizen and veteran but have relocated here permanently and I personally oversee every step of production. All of which is done in-house using our own tools.
The ethos of our shop is that anything worth doing is worth doing right. For this reason, we use nothing but the best materials available to us- our molds are made from prepreg carbon because Aluminum and Fiberglass molds expand too much with heat. We clear coat all of our parts with Porsche-approved products, even though the prepreg we use is UV stable because we know that polished prepreg will never have the same gloss as a proper clear coat and because this doubles the lifespan of the composite before yellowing sets in. This is the reason that we do not and will not ever outsource any step of our production.
Our number one goal is to gain your trust and it is my opinion that outsourcing production puts that in jeopardy because I would not have enough oversight and the Eastern manufacturers do not care nearly as much as we do.
