OEM Hardware (EU banned zinc) vs Domestic yellow zinc hardware

Does anyone know what they use for rust protection on the non stretch to yield OEM bolts on suspension and steering? They have this silver paint finish, alls I could find is that the EU banned zinc plating because of chromium. Wondering if the added price is worth it compared to buying domestic yellow zinc plated equivalent from belmetric.

Also anyone have a source on domestic stretch to yield?

Well nothing just kind of inquiring since we pay a big tag on the euro fasteners when we can source them domestically. For example wheel bearing hub bolts.
