No dme connection after manifold install

2015 bmw 435i EWG 8 speed auto.

Installed my port injection intake yesterday and upon connecting the battery back up, I get a ton of drivetrain errors and no start no crank. Install went smoothly and no broken parts came up. All bolts went back where they were supposed to.

Im using bm3 tuning software, and I get a message saying there's connection to my computer but not the dme. I also have two same VIN numbers, one says connected and the other says no comm with dme.

I have an open ticket with pro tuning freaks, but I'm wondering if I fried my dme somehow?

Maybe it is your cable?
Did it work in the past?
I am guessing you had to tap some wires in the DME? Retrace what you did.

Retraced all my steps, starting with all the dme connections. That did the trick, but I was racking my head for over 6 hours about this.
