I have a 2010 535i n54 and have been running a custom tune for pure stage 2 turbos for a while already.

I am finally getting around to upgrading the stock lpfp to a walbro 535.

I know it won't be optimized or request more boost, but can existing tune handle the new lpfp or is it highly recommended to flash a new one at same time?

FYI I only run pump 93 no mixes

Yes. I assume that as it's PWM controlled, has targets and a fuel pressure regulator valve, that it'll just hit targets with less effort but also do a better job of hitting targets top end when fuel demand become more difficult. Excess pressure would be bled off by the regulator.

Probably a good idea to reset fueling adaptations after a pump change as well
