My name is Rik, and I'm from CNY. For anyone nearby - I'm certainly able to help with any coding requiring an ICOM, and can remotely assist anyone that has the gear but not the confidence.
I own a 2006 BMW 530XI and I've fallen in love with BMW. I'm never driving anything else (not willingly anyway).
Aside from that, my interests in this forum was actually the more frivolous hack and slash of the technology in our cars; especially the more entertaining stuff like QNX mods and playing DOOM on our CIC. I'm a software/devops engineer and would love to get involved so I'm going to try and read through some forums and see where I might try to dig in and collaborate.
Happy to have found the community here at spoolstreet - looking forward to uncovering all the goodness that seems to be buried here.
