N55: What Spark Plugs do you use?

This question pops up a lot, so I'm just curious what plugs the N55 guys are using. It is my understanding that the same plugs work across the N54, N55, S55 engines.

SILZKBR8D8S is the BMW N20 plug which is 1 step colder and seems to a popular choice.
SILZKBR9F8S is the BMW N20 Flex Fuel plug and is 2 steps colder

NGK 5992s at 0.020

I had considered going one step colder than these however climate here isn't too hot, therefore, as I have zero issues, I'll be sticking with the 5992s.

Pre this, with setup as per signature, I had the OEM Bosch plugs which were good to ~20psi. Going above this resulted in the odd miss, probably due to gap which I didn't find easy to change on these.

I run the ngk 5992/95770 at 0.020. I changed them recently and was tempted to run the ngk 97506 (one step colder than stock n55), but from my research, I found that it would be overkill for a stock turbo n55 even when running e85.

I run the 5992s at ~25psi and, even when super hot following 'back to back' pulls, have no problems. Current plugs have around 5K on and are still going strong. My outside temp is however rarely >25 with norm tending to more around 20

I just switched to the NGK 95770 gapped at .022. Still having some timing corrections but I am in AZ with low octane fuel and high ambient temps.

You've got access to E54, what part of town are you? I have a pump about 10 mins away at Elliot and the i10 area.

I'm in Surprise. There are E54 stations reasonably close and I have been throwing a couple gallons in to boost octane but I still need to get an E30 tune. Currently on MHD stage 2 with catless DP, chargepipe, exhaust, and drop in Bms filter.

Well, when you get a dedicated ethanol tune, its worth it to me to go make the drive. I'm lazy as all hell, but I do it. Most of that is because my single turbo spools better, but its worth it for sure IMO.

There is a gas station a mile away but it was out of E for like a week or more. There are a couple others on the way to/from different places I go for work. What sucks is that the 1 series has such a small tank and I can't tune it for just straight E50 without adding PI.

I have the same problem on E54, can't go past 18 psi. I'm waiting for the new double shotgun @Tony@VargasTurboTech

What's the pro/cons of upgrading the HPFP rather than going PI?
